           Dubai Viral Khunafa Chocolate



Hey Guys! 👋. I hope you're having a good time. I'm very excited to share with you this recipe. 💕  I was researching and trying to find an authentic recipe.

If you've ever walked the sweet streets of Dubai, you know that Khunafa (Kunafa) is more than just dessert—it's a cultural experience. Now imagine fusing it with rich chocolate and creamy pistachio paste—pure indulgence!

In this blog post, I’ll share with you a homemade Khunafa chocolate recipe that’s going viral on social media. A perfect twist to the classic Arabic dessert, this version is easy to make at home and guaranteed to wow your family and friends.


✨ What Makes This Recipe Special?

  • Made with freshly shredded homemade Khunafa dough

  • Filled with milk chocolate 

  • Layered or topped with silky pistachio paste and white chocolate with green and yellow colours.

📝 Ingredients

For Homemade Khunafa Dough:

  • 1/3 cup Corn flour 

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Water 1 cup

For Chocolate Filling:

  • 4 Tbsp white melted chocolate

  • Oil 2 tbsp 

For Pistachio Paste:

  • 1 cup pistachios (unsalted, peeled)

  • You cab boil the pistachio to peel of its skin

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 3/4 cup of Condensed milk


🧑‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Make the Khunafa Dough

  1. Mix flour, and salt with water to make a thin batter.

  2. Pour out the better into the piping bag and cut a little the piping bag.

  3. Heat up the non- stick griddle, make the circular design noodles. When it get dry, remove from the griddle. This is your homemade Khunafa.


Step 2: Prepare Pistachio Paste

  1. Blend pistachios, sugar and Condensed milk in a food processor or blender. 

  2. Add green food colour about 1 Tsp. 

  3. Keep chilled until needed.

  4. Pistachio Paste is ready.

Step 3: Assemble the Khunafa

  1. In a chocolate mold, apply some yellow and green chocolate with design.

  2. Add a generous layer of milk melted chocolate.

  3. Add another layer of khunafa and pistachio paste on top, pressing slightly.

Step 4: Refrigerate:-

  1. Refrigerate the mold for 2 hours.


📸 Presentation Tips

  • Serve in a serving tray placed on a rustic wooden table.

  • Cut in half to show the stuffed chocolate inside.

  • Top with a touch of sliver paper for a luxurious Dubai vibe.
