                             Beef Lasagna Recipe 


       

Hi Friends! Today I'm going to teach you how to make lasagna. I hope you must know about this recipe. It is so famous and popular. Let me tell you about this recipe first then go further.
Beef Lasagna is an Italian dish. The Italian favourite of lasagne or lasagna that we all know and love originated in Italy in the city of Naples during the Middle Ages. One of the first references to modern-day lasagne can be found in a 14th-century English cookbook that highlighted a dish with layers of pasta without tomatoes.

In fact, this dish was not named after an individual, but after a fermented noodle called lagoon that was frequently used in ancient Greece where lasagna originated. In the beginning, lasagna was sprinkled with toppings, and eaten with a pointed stick.

Originally, in Italy, the word “lasagna” did not refer to a portion of food. The word “lasagna” referred to the pot in which the food was cooked. It is thought that the word “lasagna” for the pot is derived from the Greek word for “chamber pot. The earliest lasagna recipes known are dated from the thirteenth century.

  • The beef in the recipe gives your body the iron it needs to promote healthy blood circulation. You can easily add vitamins A and C by including zucchini and red pepper. Adding vegetables will increase your vitamin intake and make for a delicious lasagna dish.

Most recipes you'll find for lasagna call for a minimum of three layers, which seems to be the universal standard. But I recommend more layers too if you belong to a big family and you have a big pan.🥘 😁

Lasagne is a classic comfort food but can be high in saturated fat and salt, because of the bechamel sauce, mince and cheese. A large portion can contain over 1000kcals, which is half of what most of us need in a day.

So let's get started 😉

Ingredients:-

Beef mince   1kg  (chicken, mutton etc)

Olive 🫒.        oil 1/2 cup 

Onion 🧅.      1 medium chopped 

Garlic 🧄.       1 Tbsp (chopped)

Tometo🍅 puree  2 cups

Oreganos         1tsp

Mixed Herbs.  1tsp

White Paper.   1/2 TSp

Salt                    to taste

Black paper.    1/2 tsp

Tometo paste 🥫 1/4 cup

Chilli flakes    1 tsp

Capsicum 🫑       1 (medium chopped)

Water             1 cup

White sauce:-

All-purpose flour.   4  tbsp

Butter                       2 tbsp

Salt.                          Pinch 

Milk                         3cups

Black paper.       Pinch

Nutmeg.              1 pinch

Chilli flakes.       1/2 tsp

Lasagna noodles boiling method:-

Boil the lasagna noodles/ sheets in a pan with salt and oil for 5 - 7 minutes or the directions of the lasagna noodles box.

Remove the water from the noodles and add them to cold water with 1 Tbsp of oil. 

Keep them aside. 

Method of red sauce:-

In a deep and large pan add 🫒 olive oil and onion 🧅. Fry the onion 🧅 on medium heat until soft. Then add the beef mince and roast the beef until it dries then add chopped garlic 🧄. Rosat it and add salt, white pepper, black pepper, 🌶️ chilli flakes, and oregano, and mix Herbs and roast the spices well. 

After roasting add tomato paste and mix well.

Now add tometo purée 🥫 and water. Let it cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add chopped capsicum 🫑 and keep cooking on low 🔥 flame for 20 minutes.

                              

Leave a bit of water in this sauce. Don't dry the water. The red sauce is ready.

Presentation of white sauce:-

In a frying pan add butter 🧈, let it melt and add all-purpose flour and stir well for 1 minute so that it will prepare without lumps. Now add 🥛 milk and add salt, black pepper, chilli flakes and nutmeg and keep stirring constantly. When you get a thick consistency. It is ready.



Assembling of Lasagna:-

Take a heatproof 📥 tray. First, apply white sauce to the bottom of the tray. Now add lasagna noodles/ sheets. 

Now add red sauce and sprinkle some grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the process and make 3 or 4 layers. 

On top make both cheese 🧀 layers and sprinkle mixed Herbs, oregano and chilli flakes. 

Baking of Lasagna:-

Cover the dish with aluminium foil and bake it at 180 °C for 25 - 30 minutes. 

After that remove the foil and bake again for 10 minutes more. When it is baked leave it for 30 minutes at room temperature 🌡️ before serving. It is very important before serving because lasagna will break the layers. After cold down cut it up to down with a serrated knife. Garnish it with parsley and with your favourite drink. Beef Lasagna 🥩 is ready to eat. ENJOY 😍😊
